I have been teaching high school for 23 years, so anything education-related is what I like to discuss. Also, I like to talk about romance books because that is what I write as a hobby.

What topics do you like to discuss?
I have been teaching high school for 23 years, so anything education-related is what I like to discuss. Also, I like to talk about romance books because that is what I write as a hobby.
I love to discuss education too. But of course there’s a big difference between people who are doing it as a job and people who just think about it. Even then there’s very little consensus, it seems to me. A good friend once said “Americans have a great belief in the potential of education but no real understanding of how it works.” That was 20 years ago and with adoption of computers in classrooms it seems like it’s just gotten more confusing since then. Nevertheless I’m starting a new blog to try to talk about best practices for education in primary ( K2 ) classrooms.
What’s your favorite thing about teaching high school? I’ve been teaching for 18 years but just got into high school a few years ago
