What’s a skill you consider basic, that most people don’t actually know how to do?
These days it’s easy to just buy a meal kit and throw it on the stove for dinner. What I have found is that many people have no idea how to create a meal that isn’t already premade for them. Yes, I buy pre-made meals too, but making my own meatballs and homemade Alfredo sauce, or beef pepper steak with rice, for dinner often tastes better than store-bought.
So true my mother made sure my brother and I knew how to cook, as well as mow the lawn change the oil on a car and the tire as well sew on a button. Because she said you may never get married or you may not be able to afford to pay someone. I love this 💛
